APT Canada Sections
APT Canada is organized into Sections based on geography. A Section consists of two co-chairs and a core committee of at least three other members.
The Sections maintain lists of Section members, provide technical leadership, mobilize volunteers, and promote and develop educational training and programming in their respective regions.
They also assist in planning for the APT annual conferences when they are held in Canada through a Local Conference Committee.
A membership to any of the following Chapters is automatic with an APT International membership and residence in respective regions.

Alberta
Established in 2014, this Section serves members throughout the Province of Alberta. They focus on providing an umbrella under which the heritage community can meet in various locations of the Province to share information and connect in a social setting. Learn more.
Atlantic
Established in 2005, the Atlantic Canada Chapter serves the Provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. Learn more.
Ottawa Valley/Outaouais
Established in 1999, this Section serves members in the Ottawa Valley/Outaouais region of Ontario and Québec. Founded over tea, scones, and Devonshire cream, the chapter was intended to be a loosely structured affinity group that would meet in various parts of the region several times a year to share information, consider conservation challenges, and enjoy social events. Québec
Founded in 2010, APT Québec is dedicated to advancing the use of innovative technologies in the conservation of historic structures. They also strive to unite professionals working in heritage restoration and to promote the adoption of the best practices and technologies for preserving Québec’s built heritage. Learn more.
